Thanks Cosmic
Jaxter caught up with me via email and will be visiting tomorrow morning to see my little vegie garden.
I so hope she won't be disappointed in it.

You will like Jaxster - she is a very down to earth person. Hope you don;t mind me giving her your email, she is keen to catch up with you. How are you? How are the ducks?

Not a problem at all
We are all fine here and the quackers and the rest of the gang are going great
Been really busy of late and the garden is looking so much better with garden beds now busy growing food after a rest and a soil revamp with goodies from the animals.
Re: Thanks Cosmic
Steve Solomon, Tassie's other gardening guru, but not on tellie, says that every five years, veggie growing areas should be turned back to grass or cereal crop for a year. He maintains this 'heals' the soil and gets it ready for cultivating the following year. I guess this is like fallow fields in the medieval system.

Thanks Lucky!
Hi Lucky, we're finally back home after our quick tour of Clare and the Barossa - it was great to see how green everything is in SA. Thanks so much for showing me around your patch. You've got heaps going on in your back yard. It was great to see how you've used space and all the reuse/recycling going on. Thanks in particular for sharing your wisdom about worm farming - I think I need to treat my worms with a bit more care!
I'd be really interested in hearing how your no-dig patch performs compared to the traditional dug area. Keep up the good work!
