About 5 quarts were picked today, which produced four cups of berries with the calyx removed. These will be cooked gently, sweetened with a couple drops of stevia and eaten as preserved fruit.

The production in 2008 was far below that of 2007. Inclement weather was the cause.

Main picking of the harvest. This quantity was picked from the ground under the plant simply by scooping the fruit off the ground. There will be a second picking when the remaining fruit ripens. This is only from three plants.
