Leiscester Jones
Leicester Jones is the name of a tomato I received from Phoenix Seeds. It was apparently developed by a Tasmanian naturopath called (no prizes for guessing) Leicester Jones. Have you heard of him or it Blossom? Or indeed any other Taswegian out there?

Re: Leiscester Jones
Leicester was a naturopath in Somerset, farmed at Yolla. I used to go to him for massage ( in the 70's) and and to use his sauna and gym. Lovely fellow, very into biodynamics and permaculture long before it became trendy. His house is still there, but I think his son sold it. I didn't realise he developed tomatoes but it doesn't surprise me. He was associated with developing potatoes I think. I'll check with a few of my 'old' mates around. He did have a very productive farm. Bill Mollison lives near Wynyard too, so we've got a few good folks.
