Sea Squill...... Empty Sea Squill......

Saw a glimpse of one of these on Gardening Australia and they are available through diggers. I need salt tolerant stuff in my garden and this looks lovely. The botanical notes say hot dry summers - I'm not sure ours are hot enough. Any one had experience with them?
