I finally finished Carmen's Cats this morning doing the binding on the edges. The quilting was done by a professional and has little cats playing with flowers and bees in the design but the image won't show that. It is lovely. Very colourful for a colourful character. I'm working on one for Bob now. The second picture is about half of what it will be. There will be another cream border with oak and chestnut leaves, then probably another round of patches to finish it. He said he wanted a blokey one, so I figured a 'Autumn Leaves' theme would suit the old fellow.

Thee - I get down and dirty in a big way but bread making is good for the fingernails! lol!

Lucky, I wouldn't win prizes - I'm not the most accurate but I am fast - mind you my new sewing machine is brilliant - it keeps my seams on the straight and narrow which has always been a problem for me.. Rolling Eyes

I learnt over on a knitting forum .....there are some people in countries overseas that deliberately put a mistake in their work... as nothing in this world is purr-fect... except God.

When I view a homemade item, I see more than stitches and pattern I love you

I see kindness, thoughtfulness, patience and love........ flower

I am in awe of anyone who is able to do this .I have not been able to master it ,so I really appreciate a quilt when I see one as I know the hard work that is in it.
